PREFACE
Tragedy and Hope, Inc., a Connecticut Limited C-Corporation DBA “AUTONOMY” (hereinafter referred to as "AUTONOMY"), is privately owned property.
The following policies, guidelines, and rules are an extension of the AUTONOMY Terms of Service and are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all Members, Participants, and Associates of AUTONOMY. By accessing, using, or participating in any AUTONOMY services, programs, or communities, you agree to comply with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Rules of Engagement, Culture of Excellence, and all other accompanying policies and guidelines.
These policies collectively form a unified agreement, and your continued participation in AUTONOMY constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of all terms outlined herein.
INTRODUCTION
The following guidelines outline the policies and expectations for Members of AUTONOMY who create and produce personal, non-AUTONOMY content. For the purposes of these guidelines, such individuals are referred to as Producers. These rules govern the creation, submission, and hosting of personal non-AUTONOMY events within the University of Reason and the AUTONOMY Community.
To host an AUTONOMY Event, Producers must complete the AUTONOMY Events Submission Form in the EVENTS space on the AUTONOMY Community Forum.
ARTICLE 1 - CONTRIBUTION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF REASON LIBRARY
Producers of all events posted in the Events category on AUTONOMY's Circle platform must contribute a copy of the event(s) to the University of Reason Library (currently hosted on Kajabi), except for special meetings that are exclusively support-oriented, which do not need to be recorded or submitted.
This contribution is for the educational benefit of eligible Members in the AUTONOMY Community.
In exchange, Producers gain access to AUTONOMY's infrastructure and the mutual education of fellow Members who contribute to the development and benefit of the Producer’s autonomy.
ARTICLE 2 - LICENSING OF EVENT CONTENT
Tragedy and Hope Inc., as the owner of AUTONOMY, is granted an irrevocable, non-exclusive user license for all submitted event content.
The licensed content will never be sold or used outside of AUTONOMY.
Licensed content is exclusively for use within AUTONOMY, by and for AUTONOMY Members.
ARTICLE 3 - EVENTS PROMOTING PRIVATE BUSINESSES
Events promoting a Producer’s private business that are not shared with the AUTONOMY Library may only be posted in the "Plug My Work" section and not in the Circle Events category.
ARTICLE 4 - RESTRICTIONS ON SELLING TO NEW MEMBERS
Producers are prohibited from selling their course content to New Members of the current season of the AUTONOMY Course of Action.
For the purposes of this policy, a New Member is defined as any individual who has been enrolled in the Course of Action for less than three (3) months.
Producers, as Graduates of the AUTONOMY Course of Action, may only focus their sales on Graduate Members within the AUTONOMY Community.
ARTICLE 5 - USE OF MEMBER CONTENT
Any content filmed or recorded within AUTONOMY that includes a Member’s image, work, or recorded voice may not be distributed, published, or sold to parties or venues outside of AUTONOMY by any party other than AUTONOMY.
AUTONOMY is a private space for personal growth, skill development, and the cultivation of ethical professionalism.
ARTICLE 6 - USE OF AUTONOMY-CREATED CONTENT
All content created and recorded by AUTONOMY may be used in accordance with AUTONOMY policy and guidelines.
Such content may be used for internal and external purposes, including educational and marketing purposes.
ARTICLE 7 - HYBRID EVENTS
Hybrid events (events listed in the AUTONOMY Forum and simultaneously listed in other places where non-AUTONOMY Members will attend) must be clearly notated.
Producers of Hybrid events are responsible for ensuring that all attendees, including non-AUTONOMY Members, are informed in writing that the event will be recorded and that the privacy protections of AUTONOMY’s private space do not apply for that session.
Hybrid events are subject to the restrictions outlined in ARTICLE 5.
ARTICLE 8 - PUBLICLY POSTED EVENTS
Some Producer events may receive permission to be posted on public channels.
Event participants must be informed in writing, in advance of each session, that they will be recorded and that the event will be posted publicly.
ARTICLE 9 - MARKETING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Events marketing products and services may be attended by New Members; however, goods and services may not be sold to New Members, even if they initiate or request the services.
Special circumstances may receive a waiver from administration. For such requests, contact support@richardgrove.org.
ARTICLE 10 - EVENT CHANGES
Events that need to be rescheduled, canceled, or require significant edits may be requested by submitting a new form, contacting support@richardgrove.org, or by direct message to an AUTONOMY team member who set up the event.
ARTICLE 11 - COMPLIANCE WITH AUTONOMY STANDARDS
All events must adhere to AUTONOMY’s standards, including but not limited to:
ARTICLE 12 - CHANGES TO THIS EVENTS GUIDELINES POLICY
