 Last Updated: March 24, 2026

PREFACE
Tragedy and Hope, Inc., a Connecticut Limited C-Corporation DBA “AUTONOMY” (hereinafter referred to as "AUTONOMY"), is privately owned property.

The following policies, guidelines, and rules are an extension of the AUTONOMY Terms of Service and are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all Members, Participants, and Associates of AUTONOMY. By accessing, using, or participating in any AUTONOMY services, programs, or communities, you agree to comply with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Rules of Engagement, Culture of Excellence, and all other accompanying policies and guidelines.

These policies collectively form a unified agreement, and your continued participation in AUTONOMY constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of all terms outlined herein.

ARTICLE 1 - INTRODUCTION
The Rules of Engagement (ROE) serve as the operational framework for all interactions within the AUTONOMY community. These rules are designed to foster an environment of mutual respect, intellectual honesty, and personal responsibility.

By adhering to these rules, Members ensure that the community remains a high-level space for growth, learning, and professional development.

ARTICLE 2 - THE RULES

  1. No Masters, No Slaves
Interaction within AUTONOMY is based on the principle of voluntary association. No Member has the right to coerce, command, or impose their will upon another. All collaborations and engagements must be based on mutual consent and respect for individual sovereignty.
  2. No Fear
AUTONOMY is a space where ideas can be explored and challenged without the threat of social coercion, "cancel culture," or emotional manipulation. We encourage rigorous debate and the pursuit of truth, provided it is conducted with the professional decorum outlined in the Culture of Excellence.
  3. No Excuses
Every Member is expected to take 100% responsibility for their actions, their communication, and their results. We do not engage in blame-shifting or victim mentalities. If a mistake is made, own it, learn from it, and move forward.
  4. Be Excellent to Each Other
This is our foundational "Golden Rule." Excellence means bringing your best self to every interaction. It means looking for ways to empower others, offering constructive rather than destructive criticism, and maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
  5. Consistently Monitor and Maintain Your Integrity
Integrity is the alignment of your words and your actions. Members are expected to follow through on their commitments, be honest in their dealings, and ensure that their public behavior reflects the values they profess.

ARTICLE 3 - APPLICATION OF THE RULES
These rules apply to all forms of communication within AUTONOMY, including but not limited to:

  •  Community Forum posts and comments.
  •  Direct Messages (DMs) and Group Chats.
  •  Live Webinars and Virtual Workshops.
  •  In-person events and meetups.
  •  Collaborative projects and Member-led initiatives.

ARTICLE 4 - CONFLICT AND RESOLUTION
When disagreements occur, Members are expected to apply the Rules of Engagement to de-escalate the situation.

  •  Focus on the argument, not the person (No personal attacks).
  •  Use the "Integration Exercises" provided in the curriculum to process emotional triggers.
  •  If a resolution cannot be reached privately, refer to the escalation procedures in the Community Guidelines.

ARTICLE 5 - COMPLIANCE
Failure to adhere to the Rules of Engagement disrupts the harmony of the community and hinders the progress of other Members. Violations will be handled in accordance with the enforcement and penalty provisions outlined in the AUTONOMY Community Guidelines.

ARTICLE 6 - CHANGES TO THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
AUTONOMY may update these Rules of Engagement from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on the Website or, at AUTONOMY’s discretion, sent to your primary email address.
